40th Year Celebration - November 2014

We all got the chance to show our appreciation for Thompson House, the people who keep it functioning, the Horowhenua District Council and the people who regularly hire the rooms. 

Those in attendance were treated to speeches by the chair of the committee, Graeme Thompson, the Patron of the House, Mayor Brendan Duffy, and the architect from Opus Architecture who has been hard at work planning the various upgrades and renovations that will be completed next year, Steve McDonald.

Art in the Park - February 2013

Art in the Park is run in conjunction with the Levin Art Society. The craft groups which use Thompson House exhibit and some works are for sale. 

The adjoining gardens offer space for local artists and craftspeople to display and sell their works. Food and drink is available with live music adding to the atmosphere.
